Decomposed body of a man found along gravel road

The Police in Vaalwater outside Lephalale have launched a massive manhunt for a murder suspects.

This follows the discovery of the body of a middle aged man in a state of decomposition along Boshoek rock street.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe said police were alerted to the crime scene by a passer-by.

“It is alleged that a passer-by saw a human body lying over this road and alerted the police who responded quickly and on arrival at the crime scene, they found the body of the deceased in a state of decomposition,” said Ngoepe.

Ngoepe said the deceased was wearing a light blue long sleeve T-shirt, dark blue trouser, and a blue belt without any shoes.

“The deceased is still unknown and the motive behind this killing is still not not clear at this stage,” included Ngoepe.

The suspects in this matter are unknown and there is no arrest.
