Bucs to play in an empty stadium

The Absa Premiership march between Orlando Pirates and Bidvest Wits booked for Wednesday, April 25, will now be played behind closed doors  in terms of sanction handed down by the Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee.

The club apoligised on their website  to fans who have just purchased tickets for this match, saying they will be advised in future regarding matter of how to get a refund,

The ruling was released by Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee on the matter including Orlando Pirates and spectator bad conduct.

“The League had charged  Orlando Pirates of contravening Rule 54 of the NSL Handbook (Rules) following acts of hooliganism by a segment of supporters during the Absa Premiership fixture between Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates on February 112017 where a few fans invaded the pitch,” the committee said in a statement..

The PSL Disciplinary Committee found Orlando Pirates guilty.
