Expresso starts off this Monday morning by catching up with Alan Committie. Alan returns with his brand new, hilarious Stand-up show. Using stand up and sketches, Committie will attempt to hysterically unpack history, geography, science and even sport. For Mandela Monday we meet 12-year-old Joshua Hinckley who started a swimming initiative.

Don’t miss the interview with Brian McKnight – American R&B singer-songwriter, arranger, producer, and musician. He is a multi-instrumentalist who plays eight instruments. To mark his 25th anniversary as a recording artist, McKnight has released his 18th album, Genesis, featuring the hit single Forever and is currently touring South Africa. The Expresso team chats to Nurse Gertrude Jacoba who was awarded this year’s Cecilia Makiwane Clinical Programme Coordinator at Community-Based Services in the Overstrand. Comedienne, writer, and radio presenter Angel Campey is back and set to prove to us that she’s no angel, or at least to remind us that the devil was once an angel too. 25-year-old LA-based singer Cara Frew is in the country to promote her single Free, and she described the 13-track album as electronic pop, with a few African influences inspired by beats and rhythms. Tumi Tladi – Choreographer to the Stars. The 25- year-old, broke into the entertainment scene as a dancer, performing alongside respected names. As a dancer, he has performed across North America, Europe, Asia and a number of African countries. Summer is in full swing and the only way to cook on hot evenings is the braai.
