EFF Commander-In-Chief’s life in danger

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Commander-in-Chief, Julius Malema is getting death threats.

In a statement on Tuesday, the red beret acting National Spokesperson Tebogo Mokwele said Malema isn’t taking threats lightly.

“The undercover plans originate from dependable sources who demonstrate that a little gathering of politically uncertain and crazy people from the North West Province have approached drug dealers and assassins in various areas, especially in the Western Cape to kill EFF President,” said Mokwele.

Mokwele said the plot to kill the CIC is being organised by unreliable people with the information that EFF is on the verge of politically defeating the ANC in the North West Province, and other provinces in the upcoming general elections.

“These dangers are genuine and ought not to be trifled with in light of the fact that the North West is one of the areas known for secretive and uncertain political killings,” said Mokwele.

She said the EFF has alarmed the Minister of Police Bheki Cele about the death threats and expect that move will be made against every single risk postured on the leadership.

Mokwele said these security dangers also form part of a few threats originating from right-wing forces, who utilise social media, private caller personalities, and fake emails platform to pose death threats against the leadership of the EFF.

“The threats are largely connected to the EFF’s uncompromising and decisive leadership of the struggle for land expropriation without compensation and the relentless war against racism,” added Mokwele.

Mokwele said the African National Congress (ANC) is known for internal political killings to suppress its own members and activists, and it looks like they now intend to export the political killings to other political parties.

“The ruling party must also prepare their members that they will soon be out of government, therefore not in control of resources they have been misusing,” said Mokwele.
