Witpoort Hospital to benefit from Mandela Day

As part of Nelson Mandela Month festivity, Lephalale Local Municipality Mayor, Councillor Moloko Jack Maeko together with Councillors and other officials will set out on a cleaning campaign at Witpoort Hospital, Ga-Seleka

Lephalale Municipality Spokesperson Conscious Chiloane said they anticipate that the cleaning campaign will start at 8 am.

Mandela Day is an occasion which the world celebrate yearly on July 18, pronounced by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) as Nelson Mandela International Day in 2010.

This global day perceives and offers trustworthiness to the late world symbol the former President’s responsibility to human rights, conflict resolution, and reconciliation.

It is a yearly festival of Nelson Mandela’s life and a worldwide call to action for people to perceive their individual capacity to roll out an engraving and improvement in their general surroundings.

Witpoort Hospital communication officer Ernest Dinale said planning including different establishments and trade unions were in progress to guarantee the battle turn into a win.

“The exercises will incorporate the painting of male medicinal wards passages by the institution and Lephalale Municipality on July 18.  Old Mutual guaranteed to paint the facility’s maternity ward and passages,” said Dinale.
