Range Rover sports remains luxury performance SUV

Range Rover  has constantly blended modification and the capacity of a large SUV with the performance of a sports auto.

The Range Rover Sport SVR is designed, built and hand-completed at the Jaguar Land Rover SVO Technical Center in Warwickshire, UK.

The upgraded Range Rover Sport line-up, including the new P400e, will be available in South Africa in November with pricing to be reported nearer to the time.

With this latest design to enhance the driving knowledge and client accommodation, the Range Rover Sport stays to be the benchmark luxurious performance SUV.

“The latest enhancements to the Range Rover Sport build on its credentials as the luxury performance SUV.  With a more efficient powertrain line-up, improved safety technology and state-of-the-art lighting features, this is a vehicle that demands to be driven,” said Nick Collins, Vehicle Line Director, Jaguar Land Rover.

It will be available in two diesel and three petrol engine together with valuable new P400e module mixture electric vehicle (PHEV) Powertrain with a 51km all-electric range.

Clients searching for a significantly more deliberate vehicle can decide on the Black Exterior Pack for HSE Dynamic models.

This includes Gloss Black outside accents, including the grille mesh and surrounds, to give the Range Rover Sport a stealth-like appearance.

By utilising its electrical energy reserves insightfully, the P400e dependably has the power and capacity clients request from a Range Rover Sport.

On longer adventures, clients can utilise the SAVE capacity to convey the EV run for a particular part of their trip. For instance, when entering congested urban zones.

In EV mode the P400e can be driven up to 51km with zero-emissions when completely charged.

This driving mode is manually selected utilising a button on the console and gives the new PHEV demonstrate a best speed of 137km/h while its liberal range will enable drivers to finish most commutes without connecting with the petrol engine.
