Checkers foods bring fresh flavours, job opportunities to Heidelberg

Residents of the Heidelberg , Western Cape have something to celebrate as the first Checkers Foods store has officially opened its doors in Strand.
Located at The Junction in Beach Road.

The new store is set to bring convenience, quality, and value to the community.

In a statement on Thursday, the retail giant announced that Checkers Foods Beach Road will offer a range of exclusive premium brands such as Forage and Feast and Simple Truth.

The store will also feature a Meat Market with top-quality steak, fresh sushi, hot deli, and a bakery with freshly baked artisan breads.

But that’s not all – the store will also have a coffee bar with a soft serve ice cream option, a Money Market counter, and a wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables.

With a total area of 637m², the store has created 22 new job opportunities and employs a total of 71 people, all managed by Cisco Beukes.

“The store is open from 08:00 to 20:00 every day of the week, providing residents with easy access to all their grocery shopping needs,” added Checkers.
With its convenient location, premium brands, and a wide selection of fresh products, Checkers Foods Beach Road is sure to become a favorite shopping destination for residents of the Heidelberg district.
