Delivery men turned robbers nabbed

Two of the five suspects wanted in connection with the robbery shortly after they delivered tyres at business premises in Lephalale in  November last year were arrested in Jeppestown, Johannesburg at the weekend

Limpopo Police Spokesperson, Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe confirmed two suspects aged 30 and 55 will soon appear in the Lephalale Magistrate’s Court.

“It is alleged that five suspects robbed a customer a batch of tyres soon after they delivered them at a business premises. The Police were notified, and conducted the initial investigations until two of the five suspects were traced and nabbed in Gauteng,” said Colonel Moatshe.

Colonel Moatshe said manhunt for the remaining three suspects is still underway.

The Acting Provincial police Commissioner, Major General Jan Scheepers has commended a joint operation comprising crime intelligent unit and detectives for the job well done.
