“Deputy President Mashatile overcomes heat-related scare at Limpopo event”

Deputy President Paul Mashatile experienced a brief health scare during the N’waMitwa Day Celebrations in Limpopo Province on Saturday..
While delivering his keynote address, Mashatile felt lightheaded due to the scorching heat.

Deputy President did not collapse, as initially reported.
Limpopo Premier Phophi Ramathuba clarified to SABC news that Mashatile merely paused his speech due to the extreme temperature.

“He was immediately attended to by his medical team and is fine,” Ramathuba assured.

Ramathuba attributed Mashatile’s lightheadedness to the heat, which the Deputy President was not accustomed to.

“There is no medical condition that should worry South Africans; he is in high spirits,” Ramathuba emphasized.

Mashatile’s medical team responded swiftly, providing necessary attention. Acting Spokesperson Keith Khoza confirmed, “The Deputy President has received the necessary medical attention and is well.”
