Horrifying discovery: Dismembered  women’s body found wrapped in blanket on unused  pit toilet seat in Limpopo

The Thohoyandou police have launched a massive manhunt for the suspect in connection with heinous crime after a woman’s dismembered body was discovered in Mukula village on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, her wrist missing.

Limpopo Police Spokesperson, Colonel Malesela Ledwaba said the body was identified as that of a 35-year-old Avhurengwi Rambuda.

He said the murdered woman was allegedly last seen at her home in Mukula village on December 30. 2022.

The following day, around 9 pm, a relative made the horrifying discovery of the victim’s body wrapped in a blanket. It was placed on the seat of an abandoned pit toilet.

The body had been dismembered with a sharp object, and the victim’s wrist was missing.

In response to this tragic incident, Limpopo Police Commissioner Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe implored members of the community to come forward with any relevant information to help bring the suspect to justice.

Colonel Ledwaba declared that police have appealed to Azwimpheleli Mashau to present himself to the nearest police station to offer his help in the ongoing investigations.
