Judge Hlophe’s suspension exemplifies President Ramaphosa’s ‘retaliatory attitude’, says EFF

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) slammed President Cyril Ramaphoa for suspending Judge John Hlope.

According to EFF Ramaphosa’s suspension of Judge Hlope is shrouded in reasonable suspicion of a conflict of interest, much like his suspension of Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane.

Despite Ramaphosa’s suspension of Judge John Hlope, EFF said the Western Cape High Court ruled that Ramaphosa’s suspension of Mkhwebane was unlawful and biased. This is because she chose to investigate allegations relating to Phala Phala Farms scandal.

In the light of the Phala Phala scandal, Ramaphosa violated the Constitution. He breached the Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act. In addition, he committed money laundering, abduction, and misappropriation of state resources.

The EFF said that it is ironic that Ramaphosa himself refuses to step down or resign.

The suspension of Judge Hlope is motivated by President Ramaphosa’s desire to remove his perceived enemies.

Despite disgracing South Africa in the international community, Ramaphosa has no moral authority to determine who should be suspended or removed from office.

According to the EFF, Ramaphosa has long threatened to compromise the institutions of South Africa so that they exist as instruments of the white ruling class and its puppets.

The EFF said that President Ramaphosa must be removed from office immediately, or else South Africa will lose its black intellectuals, and professionals.
