“No tears for Gordhan: EFF denounces former Minister’s harmful legacy”

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) do not hold back in their scathing statement on the passing of former Minister of Public Enterprises Pravin Gordhan.
In a fiery rebuke, EFF National Spokesperson Leigh-Ann Mathys slams Gordhan as a destructive force who betrayed the interests of the South African people.

Mathys pulls no punches, accusing Gordhan of undermining South Africa’s potential for success and sovereignty.
She points to Gordhan’s controversial past, including his involvement in the rogue unit at SARS and the prosecution of Winnie Mandela, as evidence of his harmful legacy.

As Minister of Public Enterprises, Gordhan oversaw the decline of crucial state assets like Eskom, Transnet, Denel, and SAA, leading to widespread unemployment and economic hardship.

The EFF lays the blame squarely at Gordhan’s feet, accusing him of acting out of greed, corruption, and elitism.
