Law enforcement in Limpopo seized drugs with a street value of more than R100 000 in Northam, near Thabazimbi.
Limpopo police spokesperson, Colonel Malesela Ledwaba said the bust follows an efficient and well-planned operation on Friday – made possible by a fruitful tip off.
The Waterberg District Flying Squad, Modimolle and the Lephalale K9 Dog Units contributed to the recovery.
Colonel Ledwaba said the suspects were scattered across different residences.
As a result of the raid said Ledwaba a 27-year-old man was arrested for hoarding 1053 packs of Nyaope drugs with a street value of R52,650 and R220.00 in cash.
At another location, his 38-year-old accomplice was found with 633 packs of rock worth R94,950.
He said police confiscated drugs amounting to R147,800.00 and are now continuing their investigations to find out who the main suppliers or distributors of these drugs are.
The accused will be brought before Northam Magistrate’s Court on Monday facing charges of dealing with and possessing drugs.
Police said investigations are still underway.
