South Africa has registered 2 918 366 COVID-19 cases during the past 24-hour reporting cycle, including 520 new cases, according to the Department of Health.
In all, 81 people have been confirmed dead due to COVID-19, bringing the cumulative death toll to 88 835.
The cumulative number of recoveries now stands at 2 810 316 with a recuperation rate of 96,3 percent.
As of today, 21 011 187 doses of the COVID19 vaccine have been administered in South Africa.
