Since the outbreak, COVID-19 has claimed 3 lives in Limpopo

In the past 24 hours, Limpopo report­ed four new coro­n­avirus cas­es.

So far, the province has count­ed and con­firmed a total of 226 cas­es.

The provin­cial health depart­ment has con­firmed at least 158 recov­ery cas­es and 65 active cas­es.

The province has report­ed two cas­es in Glen­core Man­ga­neng and Modik­wa Plat­inum at Fatak­go­mo-Tubatse  in Sekhukhune dis­trict, one in Thu­lamela in Vhem­be dis­trict and anoth­er case at Aman­del­bult mine in Thabaz­im­bi in the Water­berg dis­trict.

Since the out­break of coro­n­avirus in South Africa ear­ly this year, the dead­ly infec­tion has so far claimed three lives in Limpopo.

Two deaths were con­firmed in Lep­elle-Nkumpi in Capri­con dis­trict, and one was report­ed in Fetak­go­mo-Tubatse in Sekhukhune area.
