The Volvo Car South Africa has announced the pricing for the XC40 P8 Recharge, which will launch in the country in August this year. The all-electric car prices will start at R1,2 million, including VAT, and delivered in August.
Greg Maruszewski, the managing director of Volvo Car South Africa, said that the company has worked hard to make sure that its customers can enjoy the benefits of the all-electric vehicle.
“It has been a challenge to unveil the all-electric vehicle in South Africa. We have made this possible by introducing a compelling price tag,” said Maruszewski
In addition, Volvo Cars have launched My Volvo, a website that will allow South African consumers to buy and rent a car in as little as 20 minutes. This new online store is exclusive to Volvo Cars.
The Volvo XC40 P8 Recharge is the first all-electric vehicle from Volvo. It can travel up to 418 km on a single charge. Its range is impressive enough to keep you occupied for a long time.
The Volvo XC40 P8 Recharge comes with a five-year maintenance plan and a three-year insurance policy. It includes a home charger.
Volvo Cars’ global sales grew by 40.8% in the first quarter of 2021. This was because of the company’s strong sales in its recharge range.
“The all-electric Volvo XC40 P8 Recharge is an indicator that the company is serious developing fully electric cars by 2030,” added Maruszewski.
