This is Audi South Africa’s first compact crossover, the Sportback, included as a headlamp and brand in the Q3 series and shows the-CUV’s sporty, practical and elegant status in the high-end automotive market.
Strong contours on the wheels show the Quattro drive of the Q3 Sportback 40 TFSI. The rear with a sports bumper is as strong as the front of the Audi Q3 Sportback, light, and shadow effects.

Its low window surrounded by aero trims and a sport bumper which resembles a ventilation slot underlines the width of the Audi Q3 Sportback.
Attached was a choice to matrix LED technology, whose adaptive high beam illuminates the road to suit the driving.
Ten exterior colours are available for the Audi Q3 Sportback, including a new metallic paint color called Dew Silver, available only for the Q3 Sportback.

The exterior cladding of the Audi S line is part of the standard equipment of the entire lineup.
As a choice, Audi also offers a package in the black style which offers a more dynamic as the body looks even sportier thanks to dark-colored bumper surfaces.

In the city, on long stretches or easy terrain - a compact cross is a dynamic multi-function player. It comes with progressive steering as standard, the gear ratio becomes more direct as the steering angle increases, along with a sport suspension that comes into play.

Depending on the driving, road conditions, and personal preferences, the driver can change the characteristics of the vehicle using the standard dynamic control selected by Audi Drive. Two petrol engines are available for the Audi Q3 Sportback in South Africa.

Both engine options are also available in the Audi Q3 model range. The 1.4 TFSI in the Q3 Sportback 35 TFSI delivers 110 kW and 250 Nm of torque from a direct-injection four-cylinder with a turbocharger.

In this model, Quattro all-wheel-drive takes over power transmission as standard, making the drive more dynamic and stable. The Audi Q3 Sportback is one of the most spacious models in its segment.

This makes the SUV 16 mm longer, 29 mm flatter, and 6 mm thinner than the Audi Q3. It offers easy entry, good visibility, and a sporty seating position for the driver and front passenger.

It has a net on the back of the front seat, a compartment under the front passenger seat, a net for the luggage compartment, and LED headlights on the rear door. As part of the optional comfort package, Audi has provided an electric rear door that can open and close with a flick of afoot.

Included in this package, the front seats - which the driver can adjust and heat-offer a sporty position and a high level of comfort.
Seat upholstery is available as a standard joint with a leather and synthetic leather. Besides, the surface of the dashboard and armrests of Alcantara underlines the progressive design philosophy. On the S line interior package, the backrest is embossed with the S logo and the sporty leather steering wheel bears the badge to match.

In the dark, two lighting packages highlight specific interior areas - an ambient lighting package and a multi-colored ambient/contour lighting package.

With widespread indirect ambient lighting, the central door and tunnel panels appear to be floating, while the focused contour lighting follows brief interior design lines. The high-end version can be set in 30 colors and also illuminates the Quattro logo on the passenger side of the dashboard and Audi rings on the front-wheel-drive models.

An interesting addition is a two-piece panoramic sliding glass roof which adds to the car and creates a sporty, progressive look.
The standard automatic two-zone luxury has separate temperature distribution for the driver and front passenger as well as for the rear.

The digital instrument cluster with an 8.8-inch diagonal screen, which the driver controls via a multi-function steering wheel, has a built-in plus MMI touch radio as standard.

Customers have the option to replace the digital instrument cluster with Audi’s virtual cockpit so they can switch between different levels of information and different displays. In the best system that is part of the technology package, Audi Plus virtual cockpit is available along with MMI Navigation Plus with a screen diagonal of 12.3 inches.

Drivers can choose from three different views on MMI, including a very dynamic layout with red graphics.
The circular tool size and infotainment content can be changed using the View button on the multi-function steering wheel.

Together with the air conditioning system below, the display tilts ergonomically at 10 ° for the driver. Smartphone content is displayed on the MMI screen via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. If the above infotainment system is used with the iPhone, no cable is required.

Optional phone booths from Audi and a state-of-the-art 3D virtual sound system from Bang & Olufsen round out the complete range.
Together with the air-conditioning control unit located beneath it, the display is ergonomically tilted 10° towards the driver.
The content of the smartphone is shown on the MMI display via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, and no cables are required if the top infotainment system is used with an iPhone.
The optional Audi phone box and the Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System with virtual 3D sound complete this comprehensive offer.

In the Audi Q3 Sportback, few systems are used for safety. The Audi pure sense basic system outputs a visual, acoustic, and haptic warning to the driver in the case of a collision. In an emergency, it causes full braking and initiates the Audi pre sense basic safety measures.

They show the direct surroundings of the SUV coupé on the MMI display, and the driver can choose from several perspectives.
A rear parking assist is available as standard on this model. Audi also offers a parking package that incorporates several optional parking functions, including a parking assistant, a 360-degree camera, and electrically adjustable outdoor mirrors that fold, heat, and dim automatically.

Audi Q3 Sportback will offer a package concept presented for other new models in South Africa. These packages are characterized by a combination of customer preferences and strategic options intended to accentuate Audi’s unique or improved technology.
