POWER GRAB EXPOSED: ANC’s sinister plot to seize Thabazimbi Municipality,says DA

In a shocking turn of events, the Democratic Alliance (DA) claim it has blown the lid off a clandestine plan by the African National Congress (ANC) to take control of the Thabazimbi Local Municipality.

DA Mayor Tokkie Swanepoel revealed that the Limpopo Provincial Government, led by Premier Phophi Ramathuba, has initiated a process to place the municipality under administration without following due process.

Swanepoel accused the ANC of orchestrating instability in the municipality by deliberately absenting themselves from crucial meetings, thereby creating a pretext for provincial intervention.

The DA has vowed to take legal action, citing a landmark court ruling that thwarted a similar ANC power grab in Tshwane.

“We will not let the ANC undermine democracy and prioritize political games over the needs of the community,” Swanepoel declared.

She added that DA will fight for honest, fair, and transparent governance in Thabazimbi.
