The Youth Makers competition, now in its second season, offers winners a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to receive mentorship from Woolies experts, bespoke leadership guidance, and a generous R125 000 in grant funding to help their business succeed in the retail world.
Launched during Youth Month 2023, the inaugural competition saw 15 entrepreneurs receive mentorship, product development support, and exposure to real-world retail practices
Winners saw valuable insights, ongoing customer engagement, and a boost to their business profiles as a result of Woolies exposure.
This year, Woolworths is once again inviting youth-led businesses to join the competition and learn from over ninety years of retail experience.
