Toyota reveals latest Land Cruiser Prado designed for SA market

The all-new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is now available for sale in South Africa.
This latest version combines the legendary Land Cruiser DNA with new technologies to provide enhanced performance both off-road and in everyday use.

Returning to its origins, the Land Cruiser Prado focuses on its core quality as a trusted vehicle that can handle tough conditions and safely bring you back home.

The new Land Cruiser Prado is equipped with a 150kW 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine paired with a new eight-speed Direct Shift automatic transmission, capable of towing loads up to 3500kg.

The interior offers the option of either five or seven-seat configurations, reflecting the strength and functionality of a true off-roader.

The Prado range consists of three variants, each delivering the rugged capability expected from a Land Cruiser, with significant improvements in drivability, technology, and design.

The TX variant provides a solid specification foundation, featuring a fully leather-upholstered cabin, heated driver and passenger seats, heated steering wheel, heads-up display, and a wireless charging station.

The VX-R variant includes additional features such as a digital rear-view mirror and a larger infotainment screen.

The First Edition, available in limited numbers for a limited period, represents the pinnacle of the all-new Land Cruiser line-up.

It is easily identifiable by its classic round headlamps, distinguishing it from the TX and VX-R models.

Additionally, all Toyota owners can sign up for a personal MyToyota profile, providing quick and convenient access to all information and services related to their vehicle(s).

Furthermore, all new Toyota vehicles come with a device that offers in-car Wi-Fi capability (with a complimentary 25 GB) and a range of supplementary Connect services when owners opt-in.

Toyota SA has created MyToyota, a personalized profile for Toyota owners to easily access information and services related to their vehicles. Additionally, new Toyota vehicles come with a built-in device that offers in-car WiFi capability and other Connect services.
