Range Rover debuts All-Black Sport SV model

Pretoria, South Africa: Range Rover unveiled its new Sport SV Black edition today, featuring a complete monochrome design that appears dipped in gloss black paint.

This exclusive variant builds on the Sport SV’s luxury performance SUV reputation and will be available for order later in 2025.

Every exterior element receives Gloss Black treatment, including first-time black Range Rover SV roundels and brand badges on the front grille.

The design extends to a black-painted carbon fibre bonnet, 23-inch forged alloy wheels, brake calipers, and quad exhausts.

Inside, Ebony Windsor leather performance seats combine with Gloss Grand Black finishers and illuminated treadplates for a cohesive dark aesthetic.

Martin Limpert, Range Rover’s Global Managing Director, described the vehicle as a statement of audacious rebellion combining power with gritty attitude.

The Sport SV Black uses a 467kW Twin Turbo V8 mild-hybrid engine that accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, reaching a top speed of 290 km/h.

Simultaneously,

Range Rover introduced a globally available Sport SV variant with the same engine and advanced 6D Dynamics suspension, electronically limited to 266 km/h.

The Sport SV Black will premiere at the UK’s Goodwood Festival of Speed from July 10 to 13, with orders opening late 2025 at a starting price of R 3,671,500.
