ATM Councillor to Detail Lephalale Migration Crackdown in Live Briefing

LEPHALALE — African Transformation Movement (ATM) councillor Sello Jan Moselane will outline a program targeting undocumented foreign nationals in Lephalale Municipality during a live Facebook broadcast on Tuesday, marking the party’s first proposed measures to address migration concerns in the region.

Moselane, who holds a Home Affairs portfolio in the municipality, announced the initiative on Monday, citing widespread community anxiety over the issue.

“This affects all residents,” he stated, urging viewers to join the 13:00 broadcast for details.

The councillor did not disclose specifics of the plan but emphasized its significance: “I will communicate with my team and the entire community. Ensure you do not miss this.

The announcement follows mounting pressure in the area over migration-related strains on local resources.
