Court delivers justice in brutal family slaying

In a landmark judgment, the Limpopo Division of the High Court has sentenced 26-year-old Tlou Milford Seanego to 25 years imprisonment for the brutal murder of his three family member.

Seanego pleaded guilty to all three charges, acknowledging his role in the deadly rampage that shook the community.
The court heard how he hacked his mother and sister with a sharp object and brutally killed his young niece before fleeing the scene.

The court sentenced Seanego to 20 years imprisonment for each count, with one sentence running concurrently, resulting in an effective incarceration period of 25 years.

Limpopo Provincial Police Commissioner, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, praised the sentence, saying it reflects the severity of Seanego’s inhumane crimes.

The community can now breathe a sigh of relief knowing justice has been serve.

The sentencing marks the end of a grueling chapter for the family and community, who can finally begin to heal.

The swift response of the police and diligent detective work by Sergeant Mammila Thabo Selolo ensured that justice was served.
