Shocking arrest of female police officer in Limpopo on six counts of murder and insurance fraud

In a jaw-dropping turn of events, a female police officer stationed at the Sewabarwana police station in Bochum, Limpopo has been arrested at her workplace on six counts of murder and insurance fraud totaling a staggering R10 million.

The 43-year-old Sergeant , whose identity has not been disclosed, was taken into custody on Thursday morning as she was about to start her shift.

National police spokesperson, Brigadier Athlenda Mathe confirmed the arrest, revealing that the officer is accused of orchestrating the murders of six individuals from the community in order to profit from insurance policies she had taken out on them.

The victims, all targeted for financial gain, had placed their trust in a member of law enforcement to protect them, only to meet their untimely death at the hands of the very person meant to uphold the law.

The news of this shocking arrest has sent shockwaves through the community of Sewabarwana, leaving many residents questioning how someone sworn to protect and serve could engage in such heinous and criminal behaviour.

The case comes on the heels of the recent conviction of former policewoman Rosemary Ndlovu, who was sentenced to six life terms for similar crimes involving insurance fraud and murder.

“As the investigation into this latest case continues, the officer in question is expected to appear in court soon to face the charges against her ,” added Brigadier Mathe.
