Small businesses and spaza shops in South Africa are about to experience a game-changing solution to their purchasing needs, thanks to Shoprite.
The retail giant has just launched an innovative online shopping and bulk delivery service for its Cash & Carry stores, marking its first venture into ecommerce.
The new digital platform offers customers the convenience of browsing and purchasing a wide range of goods at highly competitive prices, with free delivery within a 50km radius.
The move comes as a response to the challenges faced by small businesses, such as high transportation costs, overstocking, and cash flow issues.
“With the launch of this new digital platform, Shoprite Cash & Carry is paving the way for a more efficient and customer-friendly wholesale shopping experience,” said Mark Cotton, Head of B2B eCommerce at the Shoprite Group.
“We are committed to supporting small businesses by providing innovative solutions to the specific problems these enterprises face.”
Customers can take advantage of multiple payment options, including credit and debit cards, EFT, and Shoprite’s Money Market Account.
Special offers and instant cash savings are also available to members of the Xtra Savings Club.
The Cash & Carry digital platform aims to streamline the purchasing and fulfillment process for customers, making it easier than ever to stock their businesses.
“The new digital platform gives business owners more time to focus on their customers and business growth,” added Cotton.
He said small businesses and spaza shops can now enjoy the convenience of online shopping and bulk delivery, all while saving time and money on their purchases.
