Villa Nora rocked by brazen goats heist, police seek tips

In a case that’s left authorities feeling a little sheepish, six goats were swiped from a grazing spot in Shongoane 3, Villa Nora, outside Lephalale on Monday.

The sneaky suspects struck while the goats were out munching on some tasty grass.

“We’re not kidding around – we need your help to catch these thieves!” said Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, Limpopo police spokesperson.
“Stock theft is a serious crime, and we won’t let these culprits get away with it.”

The police are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in the investigation.
“If you know something, please don’t be afraid to speak up,” said Colonel Ledwaba.

The police have issued a clarion call to the public to work together to bring the perpetrators to justice and reunite the goats with their rightful owner.

If you have any leads, contact Sergeant Magwai of the Lephalale Stock Theft Unit on 082 319 9295 or report anonymously to Crime Stop at 08600 10111, your nearest police station, or through the MySAPSApp.
