In a case that’s left authorities feeling a little sheepish, six goats were swiped from a grazing spot in Shongoane 3, Villa Nora, outside Lephalale on Monday.
The sneaky suspects struck while the goats were out munching on some tasty grass.
“We’re not kidding around – we need your help to catch these thieves!” said Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, Limpopo police spokesperson.
“Stock theft is a serious crime, and we won’t let these culprits get away with it.”
The police are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in the investigation.
“If you know something, please don’t be afraid to speak up,” said Colonel Ledwaba.
The police have issued a clarion call to the public to work together to bring the perpetrators to justice and reunite the goats with their rightful owner.
