JOHANNESBURG – Audi South Africa has introduced a new S line derivative to its A1 Sportback range, priced from 549,000 rand.
The addition strengthens the value proposition within the compact segment, while maintaining the design, technology and quality expected of the Audi brand.
The A1 Sportback range now spans three distinct trim levels – Advanced, S line, and Black Edition – each offering a unique combination of features and styling.
“The Audi A1 remains one of our top-selling models in the local market, and maintaining that momentum is a key focus for us,” said Markus Schuster, Head of Audi South Africa.
“With the S line derivative, we are responding to this demand by strengthening the value proposition within the range, while continuing to offer the S line design and features our customers value.”
The S line variant sits between the base Advanced and top-spec Black Edition models. It introduces a more dynamic design expression, alongside enhanced lighting and comfort features.
Highlights include sport seats in cloth upholstery, full LED headlights with rear lights Plus, an auto-dimming interior rearview mirror, and a unique 17-inch wheel design.
The Audi A1 Sportback combines progressive design, intuitive technology and urban versatility in a compact format.
The addition of the S line derivative aims to make it easier for customers to step into the Audi brand through a model that suits their needs.
All Audi A1 Sportback models are sold with a 5-year/100,000km Audi Freeway Plan comprehensive service and maintenance plan as standard.
The updated A1 Sportback range is now available through Audi South Africa nationwide dealer network.
