Johannesburg, August 2025 – Audi South Africa has unveiled its redesigned A5 Sedan, blending athletic styling with advanced technology for the midsize luxury market.
The third-generation model features a coupe-inspired silhouette, sharpened by a long wheelbase, flared wheel arches nodding to the Urquattro legacy, and a choice of metallic finishes including Horizon Blue and Grenadine Red.
The cabin centres on a curved 14.5-inch touchscreen and 11.9-inch digital cockpit, complemented by a head-up display with 3D driver assistance visuals.
A 10.9-inch passenger screen and ChatGPT-integrated voice controls enhance connectivity, while Bang and Olufsen sound systems offer up to 810 watts through 20 speakers.
An optional panoramic sunroof uses liquid crystal tech to toggle between transparent and shaded zones.
Two turbocharged 2.0 TFSI engines power the line-up: a 146kW front-wheel variant and a 200kW quattro model with torque vectoring.
Both pair with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Buyers can opt for Tech Plus (Matrix LED lights, 360-degree camera) or Tech Pro packages (adaptive suspension, OLED taillights with safety alerts).
Four derivatives are available, starting at R1,123,000 for the base S line. Black Edition trims add darkened accents, red brake calipers, and bespoke wheels. The sedan offers 445 litres of cargo space and standard driver aids like lane departure warnings.
Deliveries begin immediately, backed by a five-year/100,000km warranty.
Audi Financial Services options include assured future value plans.
