Get ready to feel the adrenaline: MINI unveils enhanced petrol engine options

MINI has introduced a new model family with different performance levels for its petrol engines.

The MINI Cooper is designated with the letter C, while the performance-enhanced model is designated with the letter S.

The new three-door MINI offers two efficient petrol engines with a choice of three or four cylinders, complementing the brand’s iconic go-kart feeling.

Stefanie Wurst, Head of MINI, explains that the “Power of Choice” at MINI means offering models like the new MINI Cooper with a petrol engine, ideal for those who appreciate the traditional performance and characteristic sound of a combustion engine.

The interior of the new MINI Cooper features a minimalist design and new materials, along with technical innovations such as the MINI Operating System 9 and the new MINI Experience Modes.

The MINI Cooper S is equipped with a four-cylinder engine delivering 150 kW, while the MINI Cooper C features a three-cylinder engine with 115 kW. Both engines offer impressive torque and acceleration capabilities.

The exterior design of the MINI Cooper reflects the brand’s basic idea of maximum driving pleasure with minimal ecological footprint.

The puristic design, compact silhouette, and contemporary minimalism characterize the clear surfaces of the body.

The interior design of the MINI Cooper is inspired by the classic Mini, featuring a new steering wheel, round OLED Display, typical MINI toggle bar, and a two-tone textile dashboard.

The spacious cockpit and panoramic glass roof create a bright and friendly atmosphere.

The car also offers flexible luggage space and convenient storage options for smartphones.
