Toyota South Africa Motors’ cutting-edge accessory program redefines the off-road experience

Toyota South Africa Motors (TSAM), with a legacy of over sixty years in the nation, has transcended its roots as a mere car manufacturer to become a purveyor of comprehensive mobility and lifestyle solutions, enhancing the overall customer experience.

In response to the evolving desires of its clientele, many of whom are enthusiasts of the great outdoors and overlanding, TSAM has expanded its accessory offerings beyond the traditional vehicle-specific options like tow bars and canopies.

The newly introduced Associated Accessory Products (AAP) program aims to fulfill the diverse customization needs of Toyota owners, offering a one-stop-shop for an extensive selection of accessories that promise to elevate both vehicle functionality and lifestyle.

Aidan Castille, the General Manager of Conversions and Accessories at TSAM, expresses excitement about the collaboration with top-tier suppliers such as Ironman 4X4 and Thule to deliver a product line that aligns with aftermarket pricing.

“Our customers can now enhance their vehicles through their trusted Toyota dealers, ensuring a seamless integration of accessories that cater to their adventurous spirits,” Castille remarks.

The AAP program, which launched on March 1, 2024, boasts an array of products including rooftop tents, bike carriers, and solar panels, compatible with popular models like the Hilux and Land Cruiser series.

This initiative is set to be available across the Toyota dealer network, including South Africa and neighboring countries, reinforcing TSAM’s commitment to delivering quality and convenience to its customers.
